Taking in account her name and braided red hair, I can see the similarities too! She wasn't used as an inspiration for her tho, I haven't even watched Frozen, but it's a curious coincidence!

Although smoking is not good for humans' health, gems like Amethyst can smoke whenever they want without any problems. They don't have any lungs or hearts, after all, since they're basically living rocks.
