So, I finally got to open my Secret Santa gift today. I was really looking forward to seeing who I got as my Secret Santa for the past few days, and now that Christmas is here at last, I was given a chance to do so.

The character I asked my Secret Santa to draw was my FNF OC, Sarah Sparkles, whom I've made many variations of as you can see in my gallery. When I submitted my request, I wondered if the Secret Santa would draw Sarah as well as I did, if not better. I felt a little nervous about seeing how my gift would turn out, since I had no idea how my Secret Santa would draw Sarah in their style. Would she look better or worse?

Finally, after days of waiting, the time finally came. I learned that the Secret Santa I was chosen this year was singpiano, whom I really don't know very much. When I opened their gift for me, I was surprised. The way they drew Sarah in their style was kind of good, almost as good as my style. Here's what the picture looks like:

In all honesty, I think singpiano did a nice job. I don't know about the really big eyes and bags under them, though. But still, I'm glad that I gave someone the chance to draw a character of mine in their own style. It gives a really unique twist, if I do say so myself. This was actually my first time doing something like this, and it's kind of fun. I hope I get to be a Secret Santa again next year. I think I might also start some challenges where I ask other users to draw some of my characters in their styles, kind of like singpiano did with Sarah Sparkles. Who knows?

Hey, everyone! As we all know, Newgrounds is holding a Secret Santa event where users can draw other users' art and send it as a holiday gift. For my Secret Santa, I asked him to draw one of my characters, and he asked me to draw some of his. I use Procreate for most of my drawings, and Photoshop for color. My art style is also pretty simple, and so is my Secret Santa's, so I'm glad he was chosen, since I'm not very good at drawing complicated things. I like keeping things simple and easy. For his gift, I chose two characters from his reference drawing and drew them on Procreate, doing most of the coloring there and the rest in Photoshop. I really hope he likes the gift I'm going to give him. I haven't been able to submit my gift in the past few weeks, but I'm sure instructions on how to submit it will come about next week, just in time for Christmas.

Are you guys excited to receive your Secret Santa gift this week? I sure am, because I can't wait to see how my Secret Santa drew my character in his style. Hopefully, he'll like the way I drew his characters in my style. Who knows?

A few months ago, I got banned from uploading music here on Newgrounds because a moderator discovered that one of the songs I wanted to upload contained possible infringement to an existing song, even thought I didn't really plagiarize anything from it. I had until a few days to appeal against my so-called "infringement". I filled out the ownership details, but I didn't know what to do next. I just couldn't wait for a few days to pass, so I closed the case and hoped they would respond. But they haven't unbanned me in months. I tried to contact Tom Fulp about it through email, but I guess he's extremely busy, because he didn't respond to my request to be unbanned even once. Guess that means I can't upload music onto Newgrounds anymore, which is kind of a bummer.

So now you're probably wondering "What are you going to do now that you no longer have the right to upload music on Newgrounds?" Well, luckily, I'm not a person that gives up easily, and I happen to have a SoundCloud account that I upload audio files on sometimes, so I'm probably going to share the music I compose on there from now on…or at least, until Tom manages to respond and unban me, which I certainly hope will happen eventually.

I haven't composed any music for a while because the new version of GarageBand is kind of complicated and doesn't seem to have the same loops I could use to make songs easily. But I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Golly gee, I can't believe I'm now a member of the Art Portal! A few days ago, I was invited to be in the portal by an artist called Grimmzly. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the message with his invite. I thought to myself, "Wow! This guy must really like my work if he wants to scout me for the Art Portal!" So without further hesitation, I accepted his invite, and now he's my art scout. Isn't that cool or what? It's not every day I get these chances. I'm so lucky to be in the Art Portal now, and I'm going to try my best and draw some more fun stuff for other people to see. My talent was meant to be shared with others.

Yesterday, I got banned from uploading audio files onto my account because a moderator discovered that one of the songs I wanted to upload contained possible infringement to an existing song, which is "Mirror Mirror (Remix)" by DJ Randy. I used GarageBand to compose my song, but I had no idea it bore any similarities to "Mirror Mirror" until I looked it up. I listened to the instrumental version of the song, and I think I know why my song was flagged. It's probably because both my song and "Mirror Mirror" were made by GarageBand and use the same looping guitar track. However, I really don't think I plagiarized Mirror Mirror, though. It's more like a coincidence, if you ask me. I did not sample DJ Randy's track, as I made the song completely on my own in GarageBand. Just because the song has the same looping guitar track doesn't mean I copied DJ Randy's song.

But now I can't upload any audio files and I have until a few days to appeal against my so-called "infringement". I filled out the ownership details, but now I don't know what to do next. What do you think I should do to get unbanned?
